It’s been a crappy 12 hours. I look at this video and wonder if I’ll ever get to see what my face looks like thin rather than bloated and stretched out by excess weight.

Love your blog (and your podcasts)! you’re very talented. One thing that has drastically changed my life almost overnight are amino acids, as explained in Julia Ross’ “The Diet Cure” book. If you don’t want to buy the book all the info you need can be found in podcasts (just do a google search). I suddenly am impartial to overeating and to comfort foods!!! For the first time ever!! I went to a local vitamin shop and picked up everything Dr. Ross recommends, like l-tyrosine, l-tryptophan, Gaba, Amino Acid blend, l-glutamine, and DLPA. I really think it will help you. Here’s a crash course form her book:
l-tyrosine: instant energy, take between meals whenever you feel sluggish or brain fog (it’s like a coffee replacement)
gaba: take b/t meals whenever you feel stressed, uptight, and ready for a binge from stress
l-glutamine: regulates insulin, take b/t meals to curb cravings & sugar lows
DLPA: take whenever a comfort food craving attacks (think Mac N Cheese, pizza, anything carby and fatty = comfort food)
L-tryptophan: relaxes you in the late afternoon and before bed, good to take when worrying thoughts overcome you.
Amino Acid blend: take between meals as an overall amino acid boost
I know it seems like a lot, but these supplements have literally changed my brain overnight, and I carry them in my purse at all times. Please read her book at least, or google some podcasts (she’s very thorough in her podcasts!). *Hugs* Feel free to email me- Michelle.
