    Hi Wendy,

Another great post. I knew you had a journalism/broadcast background by the quality of your videos and your interview skills. I worked in television broadcasting for 15 years (everything from traffic manager, voice-overs, producing, program coordinator, ec.).

I wanted to say be thankful that you have a best friend who is concerned about your health. That’s a true friend. There are some “best” friends that pull away when they see their friend losing weight or trying to get healty – they feel threatened. Your friend doesn’t seem that way by what you describe and it’s a plus that he’s into health.

Take care, looking forward to your next post.

      Paula!

I bet you have some amazing stories from your days in TV broadcasting. It must have been a hectic job to have.

Do you have a Web site/blog? I’d love to check it out if you do.

Re: My friend: You know, after I read your comment, I got to thinking. I am thankful for him when it comes to a million different things, but, honestly, when it comes to his constant concern about my weight, I’m not thankful. It’s nice to have someone care about you, but being that concerned–probably even more concerned about my health than I am–has always felt like an annoyance. I really, really have to look at that and change my perception.

Thank you for your comment. Your words made an impact.

    You’re welcome, Wendy.

I don’t have a blog/website. That’s not my thing, I just follow good ones (like yours).

Don’t be too annoyed with your friend. As I said, it’s a blessing to have someone so concerned about your health. My family is that way. They don’t harp on it too much, but when they do it’s just a gentle nudge, not in an insulting way. They (your friend included) are just concerned.

    Take care.
