Exercise: The Single Best Thing We Can Do For Our Health

You know how, often times, you come across something at the exact moment when you need it the most?

My goal for February is to get really serious about working out. Back at the beginning of January, I thought I’d be able to change my eating and start working out both at the same time. As it turned out, the focus that month was 99% on adjusting to changes in what I ate and I barely worked out.

February’s goals are different. A part of me is anxious to start working out and to make it a regular part of my life. Another part of me is not looking forward to the beginning stage of working out which involves physical discomfort and major hits to the ego. It sucks to think you’re somewhat fit and capable, only to find out moving your body is a lot harder than you thought it was going to be.

Today, I found this video. It has me even more motivated to get moving:

Within this video, Dr. Evans mentions a legendary researcher, Dr. Steven Blair, who, for decades, has studied the impact of exercise. Recently, Dr. Blair did a presentation at McGill University in which he detailed some of his findings.
