Each month I will update this page outlining my eating plan for the month.
The Basics:
-Most of what I eat will consist of raw fruits and veggies
-No meat
-No gluten
-No refined sugar
-While I’m not officially following Dr. Doug Graham’s 80/10/10 plan, I am shooting for 80% carbs, 10% fat, 10% protein
February, 2012:
For whatever reason, counting calories didn’t work for me so well. I ended up signing up for the Weight Watchers Online program. Counting points has worked for me in the past and it seems to be going ok so far.
I’m still eating beans and rice almost every day.
I continue to drink green juice and green smoothies, but not as much as I had planned to in January.
My only craving left to battle is sodium.
January, 2012:
I’m starting off at 1700 calories per day.
My fat source is going to be 5 brazil nuts/day until I finish off the bag. After that, I am switching to 2tbsp of hemp seed/day.
Each day I’m drinking:
-half a quart of citrus juice
-1 quart green juice
-2 quarts of green smoothies
I am going to set a timer and eat/drink something every two and a half hours.
Depending how hungry I get, I will also include 1 cup of rice with mixed with half a cup of beans.
I’m not sure why it is, but I prefer to drink fruits and veggies more than eat them. My goal for 2012 is to find a balance between the two and to find a love for salad (which I currently don’t have).
I’m kind of combining elements of The 80/10/10 Diet, Eat to Live, and Six-Week Body Makeover.
